CDC Corporation (Nasdaq:CHINA) subsidiary CDC Software Corporation (Nasdaq:CDCS) has secured $30 million in new financing from Wells Fargo Capital Finance LLC, part of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC), CDC Software announced April 27.

CDC Software plans to use the credit facility for general corporate purposes, strategic growth initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, working capital and capital expenditures.

Tencent (0700.HK) plans to enter the dictionary software market through the release of a "QQ Dictionary," reports TechWeb citing labs.qq.com, Tencent's product development lab. The to-be-released version will offer a word bank with 1 million English and Chinese terms, said the report.
