Alipay Links Up With MasterCard in HK, Macao, Taiwan

Alibaba Group's online payment tool Alipay announced that it has partnered with MasterCard (NYSE:MA) for online payment services in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, QQ reported April 21. Online shoppers in these regions will now be able to use MasterCard credit cards to make purchases on Alibaba's e-commerce site Taobao.com, said the report.
Alipay currently supports Visa (NYSE:V) cards in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, where Visa card users generate trading volume of around RMB 1 million daily, said the report... |
