China Central Television (CCTV) has signed advertising contracts for 2010 worth a total of RMB 10.97 billion, up 18.47% from RMB 9.26 billion last year, according to a report on CCTV's official site. Kunming to Eliminate Outdoor Ads before Nov. 30

Kunming's Urban Administrative Enforcement Bureau issued a notice to remove "almost all" outdoor ads in the city by November 30, China Youth Daily reported November 9.

Shanghai temporarily stopped approving new outdoor ads in April 2008, in preparation for the Expo, and had plans to do away with 16,000 outdoor ads in 2009...
