Vanke (000002.SZ, 200002.SZ) recorded contract sales worth RMB 11.99 billion in the month of August, up 84.7% year-on-year, the Shenzhen-based real estate developer announced September 3. The company's contract sales represent a combined gross floor area of 915,000 square meters, up 149% year-on-year, according to the announcement.

Vanke acquired four mixed-use land parcels with a combined area of 114,429.19 square meters in Foshan, Guangdong Province for RMB 728 million in August.

Shenzhen-based real estate developer Vanke (000002.SZ, 200002.SZ) has acquired a 230,000-square-meter land parcel in Ningbo, Zhejiang province for RMB 2.1 billion, guandian.cn reported July 1. The land parcel is zoned for mixed use development, including a hotel and commercial as well as residential projects -- the first time for Vanke to take on hotel operation and commercial-use projects, the report said.

Reports in June said Vanke has lowered its unit prices from announced pre-sale levels at the formal opening of its most recent projects.
