Nokia Siemens Plans Staff Cuts, Some in China

Nokia Siemens announced new plans to cut costs on November 4, including restructuring and a layoff of 7-9% of its 64,000 global employees, reports Beijing Times. The layoff plan includes employees in China, said the report.

Nokia Siemens has not yet decided the total number of layoffs in each country, and China may be less impacted by the cuts, said a Nokia Siemens China executive.
