CISA Warns Steel Supply to Get Heavier

China's steel output may rise 10% this year, aggravating the steel sector's oversupply problems, China Daily reported November 4 citing the China Iron & Steel Association (CISA). According to CISA figures, steel production may hit 550 million tons in 2009, while the country's steel output capacity is also expected to rise around 58% this year, the report said.
