China "Big 4" Banks Lend RMB 136b in Oct
An unnamed source revealed Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (1398.HK, 601398.SH), Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China (3988.HK, 601988.SH) and China Construction Bank (601939.SH, 0939.HK) extended a total of RMB 136 billion in new loans in October, compared with RMB 110.4 billion in September, China Securities Journal reported November 3. Among the four, Bank of China fronted RMB 44 billion in loans, while in September, the bank offered only RMB 3 billion.
