SNS Site 51.com Reveals Open Platform Revs

Shanghai-based social networking service site 51.com currently earns monthly revenue of roughly RMB 1 million from its open platform, reports DoNews quoting 51.com Chief Operating Officer Wang Xinghua. The site plans to partner with third parties to acquire its games, rather than develop games itself, Wang said.

Reports in late October said that dozens of developers on 51.com's open platform had begun to generate profit.
