Unicom 3G User Base Hits 7 Digits
China Unicom (NYSE:CHU, 0762.HK, 600050.SH) President Lu Yimin revealed that the operator has recorded more than 1 million 3G users by the end of October, ccidcom.com reports. China Unicom had reported it had 530,000 3G users by the end of September.
China Mobile (NYSE:CHL, 941.HK) said at the beginning of November that it has 2.5 million 3G users.
