AT&M Joins Germany's Odersun for Cell/Module JV
Beijing-based new materials manufacturer Advanced Technology & Materials (000969.SZ) plans to form a joint venture in Beijing with German photovoltaic company Odersun AG to produce and sell cells and modules based on Odersun's proprietary technology, the companies announced November 2. Odersun develops and manufactures thin-film cells and modules on copper tape.
The parties will begin constructing China manufacturing facilities in 2010, the announcement said.
