H-Shares Droop 0.61% as CNOOC, Yuzhou Property Disappoint
The Hang Seng Index dropped 0.61% to close at 21,620.19 on November 2, in main board trading volume of HK$65.12 billion.
Shares of CNOOC (0883.HK) sank 1.17% despite the company's announcement of an oil field discovery in Bohai Bay. The field is expected to produce 1,700 barrels of crude oil per day and supply more than 10,000 cubic meters of natural gas, Xinhua News Agency reported November 1.
Xiamen-based real estate developer Yuzhou Property (1628.HK) closed at HK$2.68 on its first day of trading, below its HK$2.71 per share issue price. Guangdong-based Agile Property Holdings (3383.HK) grew 1% after announcingon October 29 its acquisition of a 306,800-square-meter land parcel in Guangzhou for RMB 4.34 billion.
Electronics company Skyworth Digital (0751.HK) grew 5.23% while BYD Company (1211.HK) grew by 5.05%.
