TCL, BOE In Talks for High-Gen Panel Line
Electronics manufacturer TCL Group (000100.SZ) is in talks to build an advanced generation LCD panel production line through a cooperation with other color TV makers, domestic LCD panel producers including BOE (000725.SZ), and the Shenzhen local government, reports 21st Century Business Herald quoting TCL Group President Li Dongsheng. Domestic TV makers would hold controlling stake in the line, the report said.
TCL Group announced last week that it earned revenue of RMB 30.68 billion in the first nine months of 2009, up 5.85% year-on-year.
