Beijing Wangfujing Dept Store: Q3 Profit Up 14%
Beijing Wangfujing Department Store (600859.SH) recorded net profit of RMB 65.49 million in the third quarter, up 13.68% year-on-year, the company announced October 29. Company revenue stood at RMB 2.57 billion in the quarter, in comparison to RMB 2.39 billion in the same period last year.
In the first nine months of 2009, revenue was RMB 7.84 billion, up from RMB 7.52 billion in the year-ago period. Net profit reached RMB 273.24 million in the first nine months, up from RMB 256.53 million in the first nine months of 2008.
The company recorded RMB 207.76 million in net profit in the first half of 2009.
