China Mobile App Store Starts Selective Charging

China Mobile's (NYSE:CHL, 941.HK) "Mobile Market" application store announced October 29 that it will start charging users for game and software downloads in the southern province of Guangdong on November 1.

Commercial operation of the store was expected to begin September 1, with developers choosing prices for their own products. China Mobile announced the store's opening on August 17.
