Huawei Wins Contracts in Morocco, Uzbekistan
Telecom equipment manufacturer Huawei has secured a contract to supply an IPN 2.0 system to Morocco Telecom to replace that company's current system, Huawei said October 28. The update will enlarge the system's 3G capacity, c114.net reported October 29.
Huawei announced in June that an IPTV system it had constructed for Morocco Telecom had started commercial operation.
Huawei has also signed an agreement to provide equipment for an LTE network in Uzbekistan operated by OJSC Mobile TeleSystems (NYSE:MBT) subsidiary MTS Uzbekistan, the subsidiary said October 27.
