Digital China Splits Business; Subs May List, Says CEO
Beijing-based IT solutions provider Digital China Holdings (0861.HK) has established six subsidiaries with fundraising and operational independence, and will not rule out the possibility that the companies may list separately, China Business News reported citing CEO Guo Wei.
Digital China has switched from its previous model of separate divisions for distribution, systems and IT services, to subsidiaries overseeing services and marketing for individual, SME or large scale business clients, respectively, the report said.
According to Guo, Digital China needs to find new sources of capital in order to maintain its current rate of expansion.
