Wanda Buys Guangzhou Commercial Plots

Dalian Wanda Group Corporation made a successful bid of RMB 1.12 billion for a 280,000-square-meter land parcel zoned for commercial development near Guangzhou's old airport on October 29, guandian.cn reported. Wanda was the only company to register for the auction, the report said.

Wanda has said it plans to spend about RMB 20 billion to purchase 12-15 land parcels in 2009.
