TESCO China Restructures Into Regional Subs
Tesco (LSE:TSCO) has restructured its China business, formerly headquartered in Shanghai, into three regional divisions representing North, South and East China, respectively, Southern Metropolitan News reported October 29.
Tesco opened a new store in Shunde, Guangdong province on October 28, bringing its total in China to 67 and plans to open another two in Taizhou, Zhejiang province and Jinan, Shandong province in the next two days, the report said citing Tesco's new South China president, Liao Huiling.
