Changyou Opens U.S. Branch, Sets OB Date
Sohu (Nasdaq:SOHU) online gaming subsidiary Changyou.com Ltd. (Nasdaq:CYOU) has started operation of its U.S. branch in Silicon Valley, with the aim of introducing its games to U.S. players, Changyou announced October 28.
Changyou's first game for the U.S. market, its in-house developed 2.5D MMORPG Dragon Oath (Chinese name: Tian Long Ba Bu or "TLBB" ), will enter open beta testing on November 5, the report said. According to the report, Changyou has three games currently in operation and at least another three pegged for future release, all of which it plans to release in North America.
