ET Solar Ships 1MW to Indian Farm
Nanjing-based integrated photovoltaic manufacturer and system integrator ET Solar completed shipment of 1MW of high-efficiency modules to a large system integrator for an on-grid solar farm in India in July, ET Solar announced August 13. The company said more sizeable shipment volumes are "being planned for."
The announcement states that India is targeting 20% electricity generation from renewable energies by 2020, including at least 10GW of PV and solar thermal sources. ET Solar Vice President and Global Sales Officer Dennis She said the company sees "great growth potential" in India.
