Source: Foxconn Rolls Out iPhone

According to an unnamed source, Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Foxconn's Shenzhen subsidiary has begun mass production of China Unicom's (NYSE:CHU, 762.HK, 600050.SH) customized 3G Apple (Nasdaq:AAPL) iPhone version, reports 163.com. The phone has no Wi-Fi function, the source said.

The iPhone version will receive a network license after negotiations between Unicom and Apple conclude, probably in a few weeks, said the source.
