BOE Anticipates H1 RMB 800M Loss

LCD panel producer BOE (000725.SZ) announced July 9 that it expects a net loss of RMB 700-800 million in the first half of 2009, blaming low prices for its main products in the period. BOE recorded a net profit of RMB 504.96 million in the first six months of 2008, according to the report. In the first quarter of this year, the company made a net loss of RMB 410.8 million.
