Vanke Beats Out Poly, Gemdale for Wuhan Land

Real estate developer Vanke (000002.SZ, 200002.SZ) secured a 24.27-hectare residential land parcel in Wuhan, Hubei province, on July 7 with a bid of RMB 727.5 million, RMB 340 million more than the offering price, reports guandian.cn quoting media sources. Shenzhen-based real estate developer Gemdale (600383.SH) and Guangzhou-based Poly Real Estate Group Co. Ltd. (600048.SH) also bid for the plot, said the report.
