Avon China Under Investigation for Pyramid Sales
The Heilongjiang subsidiary of beauty product retailer Avon China is currently under investigation for pyramid sales by the industrial and commercial bureau of Harbin, Heilongjiang's provincial capital, reports xinmin.cn quoting a 163.com report. The bureau has confiscated some of the subsidiary's documents and computers, said 163.com.
Avon China's media department released a statement saying that the subsidiary received a request to aid in the investigation on June 23 and has not yet been notified of the investigation's results, xinmin.cn reported.
