MOFCOM: H1 Exports Down 21.7%

China's exports in the first half of 2009 decreased in value 21.7% year-on-year, reports Xinhuanet.com quoting Yi Xiaozhun, the vice minister of commerce. China exports were worth $426.14 billion in the first five months of this year, down 21.8% year-on-year, according to the statistics released by China Customs earlier this month, according to the report.
