Sopray Solar to Invest RMB 1.8B in PV Lines

Zhejiang-based Sopray Solar plans to invest RMB 1.8 billion to establish a photovoltaic industry line for ingots, silicon, solar cells and modules, reports Szsolar.org.

Sopray Solar plans to set up eight solar cell production lines between 2010 and 2012 to reach annual production capacity of 200MW of cells and 200MW of modules, said the report. The company expects this project to generate additional revenue of RMB 4 billion per year, the report said.
