Beijing Co Plans Aug Start for Northern Wind Plant
Beijing-based wind turbine company Shengguo Tongyuan has invested RMB 460 million in the first phase of a wind turbine project in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia with start of production slated for early August, reports nmrb.cn. The company aims to produce 100 wind turbines in 2009 and reach annual output of 1,000 wind turbines with capacity of 1.5MW each by 2010, said the report. The two-phase project will need total investment of RMB 1.1 billion and will generate annual sales of RMB 9 billion after 2010.
