Shenyang-based software developer NeuSoft Group (600718.SH) said on February 27 that application software company Dalian Hi-Think Computer Technology had requested to end the companies' planned merger, due to the uncertain effect of the current economy on Dalian Hi-Think's business. The companies agreed not to reopen negotiations in the next three months, and NeuSoft shares resumed trading on Monday.

NeuSoft announced on February 16 that it planned to merge with Dalian Hi-Think and suspended trading in its shares the next day for asset restructuring.
