Google Releases Chinese Domain Parking, Baidu Behind
Google (Nasdaq:GOOG) announced the official release of a Chinese version of AdSense for domains on Wednesday, reports DoNews. An industry insider said Baidu (Nasdaq:BIDU) was in frequent contact with domestic domain parking service providers at the end of 2008 in hopes to jointly release a service to post ads on undeveloped domains, but has since stopped pursuing the project. The insider said Baidu may be planning to release the service independently.
