Tencent: The QQBook Is Coming
Tencent (700.HK) said on Monday that it intends to partner on the release of "QQBook," a laptop themed after Tencent instant messaging tool QQ, reports Sohu quoting a Tencent director. An unnamed insider said the lightweight, long-life notebook computer will be released next year and offer automatic updates of Tencent software, according to another Sohu report. Tencent is currently surveying QQ users regarding laptop specifications and preferred computer manufacturers, said the report.
