SinoHydro Corporation Begins Operation Of Yunnan Wind Farm
SinoHydro Corporation began producing electricity in a wind power farm located on Dali Zhemo Mountain in Yunnan province on December 6, after about three years of preparation and building, reports China Business News. The power producing project is part of a two-part farm that will reach total investment of RMB 930 million and total installation capacity of 78.75MW, said the report. SinoHydro Corporation Vice General Manager Li Yueping said the entire farm would measure 18 kilometers with 105 turbines generating enough electricity to replace 46,000 tons of coal.
