Changyou Launches 9 Promos for "Dahua Shuihu" OB
Sohu's (Nasdaq:SOHU) online game subsidiary Changyou (Nasdaq:CYOU) has prepared nine promotional activities between March 18 and April 12 for the open beta testing of its licensed Q-style turn-based 2D MMORPG Dahua Shuihu, which will begin on March 18, according to a posting on the game's official site.
Gamers will have a chance to win the following promotional prizes: an RMB 2,888 game package with registration; digital products valued at RMB 2,000 for inviting friends; 5 Q coin (equivalent to RMB 5) when logging in; 20 Q coins when reaching level 20; ten hours of double experience points for all gamers when total participants reach 200,000; another ten hours of double experience points when total participants reach 400,000; housing subsidies of RMB 100,000 and 200,000 to 40 gamers when participants reach 600,000 and 800,000; and an RMB 700,000 housing subsidy to one top gamer when total gamers reach 1 million.
The company is accepting pre-registration for the promotions from March 10 to March 17.
