Update: Dunhuang PV Project to Start Output in '09
An initial 1MW of capacity at one of the two 10MW demonstrative on-grid photovoltaic projects in Dunhuang will be installed, tested and generating electricity before the end of this month, xinhuanent.com reported December 21. The two projects have a total investment of RMB 473 million and are expected to be fully complete before the end of 2010 with annual power generating capacity of 32.74 million kWh, the report said.
Reports in late August said that construction on the government's two 10MW demonstrative on-grid photovoltaic projects in Dunhuang was scheduled to begin in August.
