Rumor: NetDragon to Develop iPhone Apps
Fuzhou-based NetDragon (0777.HK) may have reached a strategic cooperation agreement with China Unicom's (NYSE:CHU, 0762.HK, 600050.SH) Guangdong subsidiary to develop iPhone applications, Sohu reported November 27 quoting sources. Unnamed NetDragon employees also said that the company had cooperated with Unicom's Guangxi branch to develop "91 helper," application software for the iPhone and Windows Mobile-based smart phones, the report said.
An unnamed source said in August that Apple (Nasdaq:AAPL) had selected NetDragon to operate its China application store.
