Solargiga Wins 13.5MW Liaoning PV Project Bid
Solargiga Energy Holdings (0757.HK) made the successful bid for a 13.5MW photovoltaic (PV) power plant in Liaoning province, the company announced November 18. The 13.5MW project will consist of large-scale on-grid PV power generation of 10MW, 3MW of user-side on-grid generation and 500kW of user-side rooftop installation, the report said. The project will account for 80% of the 16.5MW of PV installations eligible for government subsidies in Liaoning province under the "Golden Sun" program.
According to a notice released mid-November stating that China plans to issue RMB 20 billion in the next two to three years in "Golden Sun" subsidies for 294 demonstrative PV projects with a total capacity of 642MW.
