Ambow, McGraw-Hill Sub Offer Vocational Training
Beijing-based educational software company Ambow Education has agreed with marketing information company J.D. Power and Associates, a subsidiary of The McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE:MHP), to conduct vocational education and training in Dalian, Liaoning province, Ambow announced November 11. The companies expect to train about 20,000 technicians annually.
McGraw-Hill CEO Harold McGraw III predicted that China's vocational education market will be worth $4 billion as it shifts from low-cost labor and manufacturing to value-added services, Xinhua reported.
