Digital China Confirms Japanese Acquisition

Beijing-based IT solutions provider Digital China Holdings (0861.HK) announced November 2 that its non-wholly owned subsidiaries Digital China Software and King Tech Service will acquire 23.65% and 6.96% equity interest, respectively, in Japanese IT company SJI (Jasdaq:2315) before the end of 2009. Consideration for the deal is HK$242 million, said the announcement.

SJI reported sales of 25.8 billion Japanese yen (roughly HK$2.21 billion) in its financial year ended March 31, 2009.
