CDC IT Services Sub Acquires Nanjing ITO Co

CDC Corporation's (Nasdaq:CHINA) wholly owned IT services and consulting subsidiary, CDC Global Services, has agreed to acquire a 35% stake, with an option for up to a 51% stake, in Jiangsu-based IT outsourcing company Sowell, CDC Global Services announced November 3. Sowell, operated by Nanjing New & High Technology Economic Development Corporation, runs the Jiangsu Microsoft Technology Center, Microsoft's (Nasdaq:MSFT) exclusive technology base in Jiangsu province, according to the report.

Previous reports said CDC Global Services has opened two new offices in India to expand its business process outsourcing operations.
