Canada's Research In Motion (Nasdaq:RIMM) and China Telecom (NYSE:CHA, 0728.HK) are entering finals talks to cooperate on offering Blackberry handsets in China, and details of their cooperation are expected by the end of the year, reports China Business News quoting an RIM insider. The companies are likely to begin Blackberry telecom and email services in early 2010, the insider said.

An unnamed source said in June that China Telecom had begun negotiating for the Blackberry. RIM has already teamed up with China Mobile (NYSE:CHL, 0941.HK) to offer BlackBerry handsets and mobile email service in China.
