Rumor: E.E Media Pres Signs on at Shanda's Hurray
An unnamed source says Danni Long, the current president of Shanghai-based music and entertainment company E.E Media, has decided to join Shanda (Nasdaq:SNDA), reports Sina. The news is likely to be officially announced within the week, the report said.
Reports in late October said that Shanda CEO Chen Tianqiao had asked Danni Long to join Hurray Holdings (Nasdaq:HRAY) as CEO.
Shanda agreed to purchase 51% stake in Hurray, a music production, artist development and wireless value-added services provider, for roughly $46.2 million in June. Hurray Holdings announced October 15 that Songzuo Xiang had resigned as CEO and Xiaoqing Guo has resigned as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for personal reasons, effective immediately.
