MIIT Source: "WoW" Expansion May Launch in Mid-Nov
An unnamed Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) official has disclosed that the second expansion of NetEase's (Nasdaq:NTES) licensed 3D MMORPG World of Warcraft (WoW), "Wrath of the Lich King" (WLK), may be released as early as mid-November this year, uuu9.com reports. According to the official, checks of revisions to unhealthy content in the expansion are still needed, and NetEase still has "a lot of preparation to do" on the expansion.
According to previous reports, NetEase resumed official operationof WoW on September 19, without General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) knowledge.
