Update: Lenovo Halts OPhone Presales
Lenovo (0992.HK) put pre-sales of its TD-SCDMA Ophone "O1" on hold on October 21, as the company has not finalized the "subsidies" from TD-SCDMA network operator China Mobile (NYSE:CHL, 0941.HK), Beijing Times reports. Lenovo Mobile Marketing Vice President Wenhui Chen said that negotiations with the operator are ongoing, the report said.
Reports on October 20 recorded Lenovo's OPhone "O1" presales launch, noting customers would receive China Mobile minutes for purchases of the model.
