Huawei Secures $500m Singapore Contract

Telecom equipment manufacturer Huawei and Alcatel-Lucent (EPA and NYSE:ALU) jointly won a contract valued at $710 million to build a next-generation national broadband network in Singapore, Huawei announced September 23. Huawei and Alcatel-Lucent will take 70% and 30% of the contract, respectively, reports C114.net quoting foreign media reports.

In a contract signed September 22, China Development Bank agreed to increase Huawei's credit line to $30 billion, reports Shenzhen Business News.
