SNS Site Kaixin001 Hits 40m Users
Beijing-based social networking service (SNS) site Kaixin001.com had 40 million users by mid-July, adds 300,000 new users per month and records more than 10 million logged-in users and over 1 billion page views daily, reports Shenyang Evening News. Kaixin001.com had recorded 30 million users by June.
Currently, the site's sole profit source is embedded advertisements, and it now has at least 50 partners, said the report. Kaixin001.com charges RMB 50,000 per day for an embedded automobile ad that it launched in December 10, 2008, the report said.
