NetEase: WoW CB to Last One Week
NetEase (Nasdaq:NTES) announced July 23 it will start closed beta testing of its licensed MMORPG World of Warcraft (WoW) on July 30 and that testing will last one week. Gamers with existing accounts will be permitted to join testing for the period free of charge. Previous reports citing a General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) insider said NetEase affiliate Shanghai EaseNet Network Technology had been approved to begin closed beta testing of the game.
