GAPP: "WoW" Content Checks Almost Done
The General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) said July 17 that its content checks into NetEase's (Nasdaq:NTES) licensed 3D MMORPG World of Warcarft (WoW) is almost complete though it stopped short of giving a date for announcing approval, Sohu reported. GAPP Technological and Digital Publishing Department Director Zhang Yijun said that GAPP has found some violent content which needs to be revised but that this should prove no difficulty for game companies.
