LDK Joins Jiangxi Solar Build-Up
Solar panel solutions provider Best Solar and Nanjing-based environmental chemical and new energy company GCL Engineering plan to build nine photovoltaic rooftop-based projects in Jiangxi provincial capital Nanchang, Economic Evening News reports May 20.
The Jiangxi provincial government plans to start construction of the Nanchang High-Tech Photovoltaic (PV) Industry Park in August this year with multicrystalline wafer manufacturer LDK Solar (NYSE:LDK) to begin construction of a basic facility in the park the same month, reports Jiangnan City Daily May 21. Under the government's plan, the park will have an annual output of 3GW of solar modules, 3GW of solar cells, and 1GW of crystalline silicon wafers.
