Perfect World to Design "Zhu Xian" Toys
Beijing-based online game company Perfect World (Nasdaq:PWRD) recently signed an agreement to allow toy maker MIKI Capsule Toys Trading (Shen Zhen) Company to develop products based on Perfect World's in-house developed 3D MMORPG Zhu Xian. Perfect World plans to design the figurines, which will be released nationwide at the end of May. Gamers who purchase the products will also receive in-game virtual items.
MIKI Capsule formed a similar partnership with NetEase (Nasdaq:NTES) for the Westward Journey franchise in early January.
