The General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) plans to implement the real-name authentication system soon, reports Sina quoting unnamed sources. The GAPP will shut down games operating without a fatigue system and will not issue publishing codes for new games that lack the system, said a related GAPP chief.

Previous reports said that seven online game companies, including Shanda (Nasdaq:SNDA), Kingsoft (3888.HK) and The9 (Nasdaq:NCTY), agreed to do initial trials and began implementing fatigue systems in 2008.
