Shanghai Storm Information Technology, an online game company, CEO William Zhu said Wednesday that he intends to visit North America around March 20 to find an office location for Shanghai Storm next to Irvine, California's Blizzard Entertainment, reports Sina. Zhu said he intends to steal talent from the World of Warcraft developer and, on a separate international initiative, push Shanghai Storm into Seoul in the third quarter of 2009 through the recruitment of about 20 Korean engineers.

Zhu has offered Beijing-based TV production company Joy Media a "sky-high" price to buyback Rongshuxia.com, the literature site Zhu founded in 1997, reports Sohu quoting the CEO on Thursday. Zhu said he will start his own "Rongshuxia" project in the second quarter if Joyful Media refuses to sell by late March. Rongshuxia.com was sold to European media and publishing giant Bertelsmann for about $10 million in 2002 and resold to Joyful Media for $5 million in 2006, according to previous media reports.
